This album is historic document from era in Czechoslovakia, when righteous bands couldn't record albums. After the two jazzrock albums, "Pozorovatelna" (Watchtower) 1973 and "Symbiosis" 1974 the Jazz Q didn't record album, just the "Elegy" from 1977. This live compilation introduce era between these albums, where first part of cd from 1974 contain more blues orientated repertory with František Francl's wonderful guitar work (especially in the track My Mother mě porodila v strouze with one of the best guitar solo in his career) and unforgetable vocal of english female singer Joan Duggan, Francl's wife. Second part from 1975 is more jazzrock orientated and contain a bit different members with violin and sax. player Jan Martinec and this signifed the new sound of group. I can't forget the basic member of this fantastic group, keyboard and piano player, Martin Kratochvíl, one of the famous jazz musician in Czechoslovakia. Great stuff. http://rapidshare.com/files/19642062/JAZZ_Q_-_1974-1975_live.part1.rar
