Open Question: can i get in trouble for offering video web service?

I have opened a new website which seems to be getting quite popular, its a video hosting/sharing website. Yesterday my hosting company suspended the account on the terms that i was hosting copyrighted materials... Users do upload copyrighted material as well as adult video which i clearly state in TOS that it isn't allowed. I also monitor the website and delete anything that is in violation to the TOS (nothing lasts over 2-5 hours). Now i live outside the US but my hosting is in the US and i am tottally aware of the DMCA. If i am not allowed to run this website, then why are the bigger sites still online? veoh, youtube, etc... I have found countless copyrighted material on their servers, what can i do to keep my website running and not getting into trouble at the same time?

I volunteer to watch our state (CA) legislation (bill proposals, new laws, etc...) for an organization that's existence is contingent upon keeping a watchful eye on new legislation. My job is go the the CA Leg website and type in groups of keywords to the search engine every day then scroll through the documents that come up. It's time consuming and not very effective. I'm sure someone must have created a better method for watching legislation. I'm looking for software or a web service or search engine that will allow me to get automated alerts for my keyword search. I've tried Google Alerts but that searches through the entire web and I only need this one specific site. Any suggestions?

I support the Free Tibet campaign and have learned that Yahoo and Google have set up, for the Chinese government, a web service that is heavily censored. Surely it goes against the whole idea of the net's purpose, which (I think) should be about freedom of information? China has a terrible record of human rights abuses so why have these 2 companies (and others) agreed to do this? Resolved Question: can i debug and save a log file from a web service called by a web application?

im having some troubles here..
i can save a log file from a web application using the Debug class from System.Diagnostics namespace.
when i debug the web service, it also saves the log file.
however, when the web service is called by the web application, only the application's log file is saved. the web service's log file is not even created.
i would appreciate any help, as i need this pretty urgently!

im currently running the WS in debug, and user ASPNET is an administrator and has full control in local machine, where the WS is hosted.
the weird thing is that the log is saved when i run the WS by itself, but not when its called by the application.
the app is in VB.net and the WS in ASP.net

God do I hate Sprint PCS!! My story begins in July 07' when I signed on with them. My array of complaints include the following:

*incorrect billing including:
my phone being shut off 3 times due to errors on their end, a FREE phone being charged to my account, a premium service was added to my account without my consent, inconsistent information from reps, a free activation fee charged to my account, wireless web service charged to my account (my phone has the web disabled), among many other frustrations.

I have done what I can to address my isssues with Sprint, who are basically worthless in helping. I finally filed a complaint with the Better Business Bureau asking to be let out of my contract.

Sprint has denied my request twice saying I "accepted the terms of a 2 year contract".

Isn't a contract meant to protect both parties? How can a contract be worth anything if Sprint consistenly makes errors like these?

How do web services obtain such enormous storage capacity?

I thought terabyte was large but some websites claim to have petabyte storage.

Apparently they have drives with much larger capacity than the typical 100 to 200gb drives that run in most desktop PCs.

I downloaded the installation...CD? I think they call it a CD. But at any rate, I downloaded it and it's an ISO file, and I have no idea how to open this so I can complete the installation.

Finding a program to open it from the web service isn't working, so I ask you...how the hell do I install it?
