Ante la cantidad abundante de clips de YouTube de pequeños fragmentos de sus alucinantes shows registrados por el público, los Daft Punk anunciaron que no veían la necesidad de lanzar un DVD en vivo. Es por eso que su aclamado recital llega a las bateas en formato de disco, Alive 2007, y el video de "Harder, Better, Faster, Stronger", el primer corte, muestra su concierto casi tal cual como el público lo vio. En agosto, el duo francés convocó a "varios cientos de propietarios/operadores de MiniDV" para que filmen su gig de Brooklyn. Las imágenes de 250 cámaras hogareñas que rodaron el titánico espectáculo fueron compiladas en un clip por Oliver Gondry, (si, el hermano de Michel) y este es el resultado.
