Nettwerk Records will release the first original soundtrack to House, the popular Fox drama starring Hugh Laurie. The album features music as heard in the series by artists ranging from Ben Harper, to Gomez, Lucinda Williams, Sarah McLachlan, Elvis Costello and more. Additionally, star Hugh Laurie and Band From TV (Greg Grunberg from Heroes, James Denton from Desperate Housewives, Bonnie Somerville from Cashmere Mafia, and Bob Guiney from The Bachelor will cover the Rolling Stones' "You Can't Always Get What You Want." To sweeten the pot the soundtrack features never-before released tracks like Elvis Costello's cover of Christina Aguilera's "Beautiful" and Sarah McLachlan's cover XTC's classic "Dear God" (previously only available in Canada).
