I took over 100 pictures today, so I promise to be selective. The first place we visited today was Tian'anmen Square. The pictures show many of the gorgeous buildings.Our next stop after the Forbidden City was to the zoo to see the giant pandas. I was an absolutely incredible ship that you can see in one of the pictures below.For supper tonight we were treated to Peking duck. I ate duck beak, sweet and sour shrimp, tofu, spicy radishes, duck (with bamboo shoots, mushrooms, and broccoli), Peking duck (which was incredible), and believe it or not my favorite which was bone of duck soup. I saw numerous times where someone in our tour group was asked to stop and take their picture with someone.

I fly from St. Louis to Denver to San Francisco and then finally arrive in Beijing. My day bgan with a 3 a.m. wake up call and arriving at the St. Louis airport by 4:00 a.m. for my 6:30 a.m. flight.

Twice during my education, I have taken a class and its prerequisite at the same time to be able to take all of the classes that I wanted to take10. I wrestled for one year in 7th grade in the 70 lb weight class (and I was well below that at a scale popping weight of 64 lbs)15. I attended three different universities during college and received two undergraduate degrees (three years at one, summer school classes at another, and 2 years at the last - part of a school sponsored 3-2 program designed to give engineering students a chance to take classes other than engineering classes)18. I stayed at home for a year after graduating from college to pay off my student loans27. My work study job during 4 of my 5 years of college was in food services28. I developed an allergy to alcohol sometime in college and I haven't had a drink in about 5 years when I had a serious reaction after having one drink (meaning I raised the glass to my lips once and bad things happened after that)37. I went to colleges with two of the longest running rivalry games in college football history (The Monon Bell game between DePauw and Wabash since 1890 (oldest college football rivalry west of the Alleghenies) and The Old Oaken Bucket game between Purdue and Indiana since 1926) which has made for a busy November for me every year.54. My brother (an IU grad), my father, and I have attended the Old Oaken Bucket game every year since 1998, with the exception of 2001 when we were at Patrick's wedding.55.

Well...I often feel like a slack-ass and not because, I over-extended my lunch by 10 minutes reading so wise's best hits, but because, though I crack on the folk with the bougie black thing to-do list, that damn list is engrained in my psyche somewhere and we are constantly in a state of war. All my damn friends keep calling me with grow-folk good news, while my ass is still in grad school, living the undergrad life in a house in Jersey City with 2 roommates.My peeps, are kicking ass and taking names. In the last year:-5 people bought houses-6 people identified and decided to marry the love of their life-4 people got new cars and houses ( I have an unhealthy love for sports cars--so everytime I hear about my boy's RX-8 I look at the Ac like its an old piece of trash)-2 people are pregnant, one with multiples.

My prediction- W 42-7.9/17 vs Central Michigan- W 31-7Penn State will score more than 31 poins against the Chippewas, heck Penn State might score double that. Penn State will likely struggle to score but the defense and ecstatic home crowd (I'll be in the house, something I found out this morning) should push Penn State over the top. If Penn State scores 24 points in any game this season, you can chalk it up as a Penn State victory. My prediction- L 21-1311/5 vs Wisconsin- W 27-17Wisconsin didn't score much against Penn State last season in Madison and a win here would make the Nittany Lions a shoe-in for a New Year's Day bowl game. My prediction- W 17-1311/19 at Michigan State- W 31-10I see the Spartans as a tad bit overrated head into 2005 but they always give Penn State trouble in East Lansing. Now I can easily see 8-3 with a loss to either Ohio State or Michigan State but the bottom line is that Penn State should be headed to Florida for a bowl this season.

As Marek Pawlowski points out, Nokia's business is in making handsets more than wireless networking equipment, and Cisco will be hard put to rationalize buying all of Nokia just to get its wireless infrastructure manufacturing business.Neither does such a deal appear to make a lot of sense for Nokia, which does not strike me as an overly enthusiastic acquisition target - at 34% of the world market, its handsets outsell those of the nearest competitor (Motorola/Samsung) by 2 to 1.
